With this online platform, builders can say goodbye to the hassle of manual paperwork, and access an online system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The BuildVic portal lets builders purchase DBI conveniently from your computer or mobile device, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether at the construction site or in the comfort of your office, you can easily manage your DBI insurance needs with just a few clicks.

All-in-One Solution 

BuildVic provides builders with a range of convenient features to assist with their work. If you need a Letter of Eligibility, you can obtain it quickly by clicking on the front page of your profile. If you're interested in obtaining Certificates of Insurance and want to know the premium before purchasing, you can confirm via the “apply for COI” function. These can also be easily actioned via BuildVic whenever it suits you.

You can access information about your overall and available construction limits, individual job limits, and download all your policies and invoices. You can also review all your open projects, all online. Through BuildVic, you have all the necessary details at your fingertips.

Enhanced Security

The VMIA views the security of your information is a critical priority. Recently the VMIA has implemented a multi-factor authentication (MFA) process for added security.  Most would be familiar with MFA through other businesses. When logging in to BuildVic, you'll now enter your password, and a one-time verification code will be sent to your email. This code must be entered in BuildVic to confirm your identity and complete the login process. With this extra layer of security, you can have peace of mind knowing that your insurance and business details are protected.
