What is Personal Accident and Illness Insurance?
Personal Accident and Illness Insurance can help you get back to work after suffering a serious injury or illness.
Having Personal Accident and Illness Insurance covers you for loss of income for a weekly benefit amount if you were unable to work as a result of an injury or illness. It can also include optional cover for a capital benefit or lump sum payout in the event of death or disablement and additional costs related to business expenses.
The cover is generally available regardless of whether you sustain injury or develop an illness due to your work.
